This "package" inspired all the other "toys" we make. If you can believe the owner, the night he saw pictures of the original prototype two years ago this splendid version appeared to him in a dream! We don't believe him, but we can testify to the work, re-works and the labors of love it took to capture the essence of the late '30s and '40s surf wagon in this delightful package. Its our crown jewel, and extremely cool!
Produced from high-tech quality polymers (the very best in plastics) our highest complement was being asked if it is real wood? The "wood" panel material (simulated Marine Teak) is the same as supplied to the Big 3(4?) for their station wagon/mini-vans. The "wood" extruded trim(simulated Santa Rosa Oak) is manufactured using our proprietary manufacturing process and our application specific 3M attachment system. Both have been lab and field tested for durability to insure that with normal maintenance they will retain their high quality finish for the life of your Cruiser.
All pieces are molded to size, cut to shape, and supplied with location patterns and complete instructions to make your installation as easy as possible. Designed for the home installer, installation requires not so much skill as it does thoroughness and patience. An all day job for the first timer.
